Long time Argentinean friend/5S videographer Andres Patroni has put a video together named ‘Rebelion’ Spanish for Rebellion Some of you might of ran into him if you have been in Puerto Escondido in the pass 4 years. He is always on the beach when the waves are good with his Film crew getting footage. World Class waves with World Class Bodyboarders riding them within minutes from his house you know the footage is going to be mental! Video premier was over the weekend and waiting on the reports with photos.

The 2008 Brian Pearson Classic was held this past Sunday, May 4th, at Salt Creek beach under partly cloudy skies.
It was great to see everyone show up and share their memories, support and love to the Pearson family in honoring Brian's memory. As always, the food, waves, and weather were all good. Thanks again to Sean Manning for setting up the event and to everyone who donated food and especially those who donated to the ACS in Brian's name.

Zach Jones, Who? Zach Jooones!
Yes folks our front man 'Scooter' is tying the knot to long time girlfriend, Michelle Silva. On behalf of
everyone at 5 SOUTH we like to congratulate them on a new and good long life together. In true
fashion, Zach's crew of good friends got together to take him out on what would be his last days of
being a Bachelor. The Mayhem begun when the Best men Omar Leon and Matt Hicks rolled up with
a cooler with 8 handles of liquor and a couple mixers for the 20 thirsty Lads. SoCal Limo Bus was
their flavor of choice as they transferred the quickly intoxicated group to The Yard House for dinner.
Matt's Best Man speeches cracked everyone up and only left wondering what he is going to say to the
300 people on Saturday. With a couple of soldiers left behind the Party Bus did not hesitate to head
over to their 2nd stop, The Abbey. An abandoned churchin the out skirts of Down Town SD made it a
little uneasy for a few of us, but not for the Bachelor as he jetted to the dance floor to display his skills.
